2023 Day at the Capitol

40 CDFI representatives gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol in April 2023 for the MN CDFI Coalition’s first Day at the Capitol. The group met with legislators and held an in depth discussion with Commissioner Jennifer Ho, Minnesota Housing and Interim Commissioner Kevin McKinnon about issues facing communities served by CDFIs and priorities for funding and policy to address economic development and housing disparities. The group also had the opportunity to meet with Lt. Governor Peggy Planagan to discuss the Governor’s vision and priorities for building a more equitable state and how the state can partner more closely with CDFIs.
