The statewide coalition of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) working together to increase resources and access to capital for small businesses, affordable housing, individuals, and community organizations across the state.
Minnesota CDFIs
More than 40 certified CDFIs and other mission-driven lenders operate in Minnesota, providing capital and support for small businesses, housing development, home ownership, childcare, cooperatives, nonprofit organizations, and consumers. MN CDFIs are located in cities, rural communities, and Tribal communities. CDFIs make loans that other lenders consider too risky, investing in the assets and possibilities of people in their communities.

Every Minnesotan should have the opportunity to build a good life and help their community thrive. That means being able to start or grow a business, buy a house, create jobs, and invest in the places we call home. CDFIs connect Minnesotans with the capital and financial tools to turn opportunity into action.
